Approximately 50 small flies observed near dish machine and kitchen walls, 15 large flies in rear kitchen, and about 10 large rodent droppings at bar areas. Pest control consultation required before reopening.
Gap at front door allows pest entry. Door seal must be tightened to prevent pests from entering.
Exposed pipe above kitchen prep area lacks proper encasement. No splash guard between handsink and 3-compartment sink in dishroom.
Left compartment of dishroom 3-compartment sink backs up when water drains from middle compartment. Sink must be repaired to drain properly.

OBSERVED RODENT AND INSECT PEST ACTIVITY WITH APPROX. 50 SMALL FLIES NOTED DURING INSPECTION. SMALL FLY ACTIVITY WAS NOTED NEAR THE DISH MACHINE, ALONG THE WALLS THROUGHOUT THE KITCHEN, APPROX. 15 LARGE FLIES IN REAR OF KITCHEN NEAR ICE MACHINE AND WALK IN COOLER, AND IN THE FRONT DINING AREA. ALSO NOTED APPROX. 10 LARGE DROPPINGS AT REAR AND SIDE BAR. INSTRUCTED TO CLEAN AND SANITIZE SURFACES AND CONSULT PEST CONTROL AS ADDITIONAL SERVICES ARE NEEDED TO ELIMINATE ACTIVITY PRIOR TO RE-INSPECTION. PRIORITY FOUNDATION VIOLATION #7-38-020(A). CITATION ISSUED.
