Jul 29, 2026 — Complaint inspection

Fail

Triggered by a public complaint about this restaurant.

Inspector found 18 lbs of raw fish, chicken, ham, and greens stored at dangerous temperatures between 48-55°F instead of 41°F or below.

Standout Inspection

We flagged this inspection for serious public health concerns.

Key Findings

  • Raw fish (5 lbs) stored at 48.8°F, raw chicken (5.5 lbs) at 48.2°F, and diced ham (1 lb) at 50°F—all above the 41°F safety limit. About 18 lbs of improperly stored food was discarded.
  • Dishwasher handled dirty dishes then removed clean dishes from the rack and shelved them without washing hands.
  • Two prep coolers malfunctioning: one at 58.8°F and another at 54.9°F, both well above the required 41°F maximum for holding ready-to-eat foods.
  • Bar area dish machine sanitizer completely failed, registering 0.0 PPM instead of required levels (fixed during inspection to 100.0 PPM).

Key findings are derived directly from the inspector's notes from the Chicago Department of Public Health. See the full violation notes below.
