Apr 16, 2026 — Complaint inspection

Fail

Triggered by a public complaint about this restaurant.

Live cockroaches found in food prep area and behind bar where cups are stored.

Standout Inspection

We flagged this inspection for serious public health concerns.

Key Findings

  • Two large live cockroaches observed crawling on the floor near cooling units in prep area and behind the bar counter where cups and mugs are stored. Pest control service required.
  • No handwashing sink in basement next to ice machine used for bar drinks. Inspector ordered installation of proper sink with hot water, soap, and paper towels.
  • About 37 pounds of ready-to-eat foods including chicken, fish, mushroom, kimchi, and beef sausages stored at unsafe temperatures (48-55°F instead of 41°F or below). All items voluntarily discarded.
  • Cooking equipment, cooling units, and prep surfaces throughout kitchen coated with dried food debris, creating pest attractant. Immediate cleaning and sanitizing required.

Key findings are derived directly from the inspector's notes from the Chicago Department of Public Health. See the full violation notes below.
