Over 100 rat droppings observed on floors, stairs, walls, and under pallets in basement and behind bar; approximately 20 live flying insects breeding in plastic water collection tubs.
Previous violations from August 2024 were never corrected, including large floor holes under the bar, dirt and debris throughout basement, pooling liquid, and missing ceiling above ice machine.
Basement storage areas have excessive clutter contributing to rodent harborage; pooling liquid throughout rear basement must be removed and floors kept dry.
All-gender washrooms lack covered waste receptacles.

Inspector's Notes:

OBSERVED OVER 100 RAT DROPPINGS ON THE FLOOR BEHIND THE BAR AND IN THE BASEMENT, ON THE STAIRS, AT THE BASE OF THE STAIRS, IN THE CORNERS ON THE FLOOR AND ALONG THE WALLS AND UNDER THE PALLETS IN THE BASEMENT. MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTED TO CLEAN AND REMOVE ALL RAT DROPPINGS FROM ALL AFFECTED AREAS. ALSO OBSERVED APPROX. 20 LIVE SMALL FLYING INSECTS FLYING AROUND IN THE BASEMENT AND BREEDING IN THE PLASTIC TUBS USED TO COLLECT WATER LEAKS. ADDITIONAL PEST CONTROL SERVICE IS NEEDED TO ELIMINATE THE PEST ACTIVITY. PRIORITY FOUNDATION VIOLATION 7-38-020(A). CITATION ISSUED.
