Black dirt buildup in ice machine was contaminating ice used for drinks and food.

Key Findings

  • Accumulated black dirt inside the ice machine was dripping into ice used for human consumption. All ice was discarded and manager was instructed to clean and maintain the machine.
  • The middle compartment of the meat prep sink drains slowly, and a pipe is leaking under the basement handwash sink. Both must be repaired and maintained.
  • Damaged floor tiles and missing grout at the bakery prep area near the 3-compartment sink must be replaced and regrouted.
