  • Approximately 40 rat droppings observed on the floor of the rear storage area behind grocery carts. Pest control service needed to eliminate rodent activity.
  • Cardboard liner found inside reach-in freezer in aisle 11 where chicken is stored. Non-food contact surfaces must be properly designed and constructed.
  • Left side compartment of 3-compartment sink in juicer area missing stoppers. Manager instructed to provide working stoppers.
  • Bottom of 2-door cooler in juicer area has food splash and debris requiring cleaning and maintenance. Unused 2-door refrigerator in same area must be repaired or removed.

OBSERVED EVIDENCE OF RODENT ACTIVITY ON THE PREMISES. OBSERVED APPROXIMATELY 40 RAT DROPPINGS ON THE FLOOR OF THE REAR STORAGE AREA BEHIND THE GROCERY CARTS A02A AND AO1J. MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTED TO CLEAN AND REMOVE ALL RODENT DROPPINGS FROM ALL AFFECTED AREAS. ADDITIONAL PEST CONTROL SERVICE IS NEEDED TO ELIMINATE THE PEST ACTIVITY. PRIORITY FOUNDATION #7-38-020(A).
