Milk crates used as shelving in stock area must be replaced with proper 6-inch elevated shelving.

  • Milk crates were being used as shelving throughout the back stock area near the liquor case instead of proper food-contact surfaces.
  • Food debris, old produce, and dirt buildup were found on floors and surfaces under wooden palettes in the produce area.
  • Inspector ordered detailed cleaning under all shelving units, inside prep coolers, and removal of all spills and debris.
